1. Definitions

“Software” refers to any software, source code, documentation, assets, APIs, libraries, frameworks, tools, or related materials released by Lumonol under this License. “Licensor” refers to Lumonol. “You” refers to any individual or entity using, modifying, distributing, hosting, or monetising the Software. “Permitted Development Areas” refers to industries and ecosystems that Lumonol actively focuses its development in, including but not limited to:
  • Game development
  • Online gaming platforms
  • Creator platforms
  • Roblox development
  • Game infrastructure
  • Game management systems
  • Creator tooling
  • Community management systems
  • Interactive entertainment software
“Commercial Use” means any monetised usage of the Software, including subscriptions, SaaS platforms, advertisements, licensing, paid hosting, premium access, support contracts, or direct/indirect revenue generation.

2. Licence Grant

Subject to the terms of this License, Lumonol grants You a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to:
  • Use the Software
  • Modify the Software
  • Fork the Software
  • Distribute modified versions of the Software
ONLY within the Permitted Development Areas defined in this License.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Software solely for projects associated with the Permitted Development Areas. Examples include:
  • Game development tools
  • Roblox-related software and infrastructure
  • Creator dashboards
  • Moderation systems
  • Community management platforms
  • Publishing and deployment systems
  • Analytics and telemetry tools
  • Development utilities
  • Game server infrastructure
  • Interactive platform tooling

4. Restricted Use

You may NOT:
  • Use the Software for industries or products unrelated to the Permitted Development Areas
  • Re-license the Software under another license
  • Remove Lumonol copyright notices or attribution
  • Claim ownership of the original Software
  • Use the Software for unlawful, abusive, malicious, or harmful purposes
  • Use the Software in direct competition with Lumonol while bypassing the commercial terms of this License
Lumonol reserves the right to determine whether a project falls within the Permitted Development Areas.

5. Commercial Revenue Sharing

If You monetise the Software or any derivative work based on the Software:
  • You must pay 75% of all gross revenue generated from the Software or derivative work to Lumonol.
  • Gross revenue includes, but is not limited to:
    • Subscriptions
    • One-time purchases
    • Advertisements
    • Sponsorships
    • Marketplace sales
    • Licensing fees
    • Hosted service revenue
    • Premium access or upgrades
Commercial usage must be disclosed to Lumonol prior to launch or monetisation. Failure to comply with this section immediately terminates all rights granted under this License.

6. Attribution

You must provide visible attribution to Lumonol in:
  • Source repositories
  • Product documentation
  • Credits pages
  • Dashboards or administrative interfaces where reasonably practical
Example attribution: “Powered by Lumonol Open Source Software(s)“

7. Distribution

You may distribute modified versions of the Software provided that:
  • The modified work remains under this License
  • The modified work remains within the Permitted Development Areas
  • You document significant modifications
  • All original copyright notices are retained

8. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. All ownership, trademarks, branding, intellectual property rights, and associated rights remain the property of Lumonol unless explicitly stated otherwise.

9. Termination

This License automatically terminates if You violate any term of this License. Upon termination, You must immediately:
  • Stop using the Software
  • Remove deployed instances where applicable
  • Cease distribution
  • Destroy copies under Your control
Lumonol reserves the right to revoke access or permissions at its discretion for abuse, misuse, or violations of this License.

10. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LUMONOL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SOFTWARE OR ITS USE.

This License shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of England and Wales.
